Summary

Harumi Kazuhito finds the greatest joy in getting lost in a captivating book, spending all his days engrossed in reading. But one fateful evening, a distressing incident at a café changes everything. During a violent robbery, Kazuhito hesitates to take action, but ultimately decides to intervene — with disastrous consequences. As a result of his actions, Kazuhito perishes, only to awaken in a completely unexpected reality. He's been reincarnated as a dog, under the care of Natsuno Kirihime, a regular patron of the café. To Kazuhito's surprise, Kirihime has the uncanny ability to comprehend his thoughts as a dog. But their connection isn't without its challenges: Kirihime's love of scissors and sadistic tendencies make things difficult for Kazuhito.
