Summary
Just as there are happy and unhappy unions in life, the "mariage" of food and wine can be an invitation to pure joy or utter despair. After the battle over the "12 Apostles" wines, Shizuku Kanzaki finds himself on a journey to discover what mariage means to him. Unfortunately, his journey begins with him hungry and penniless after his luggage is stolen.
Shizuku stumbles upon a small restaurant that has fallen on hard times due to rising competition from a nearby establishment. He decides to help them get back on their feet, but then he receives a phone call summoning him back to the home of his late father, Yutaka Kanzaki. It is there that Shizuku and his wine critic rival, Issei Tomine, receive the final challenge in their long and arduous battle for Yutaka's estate: to identify the elusive "Drops of God."
