Summary
Mizuki Konno is a typical high school junior at Yanno Prefectural High School, working hard to prepare for college and enjoying downtime with fashion and make-up. Although not part of the class elites, she is part of the cool kids' group. This position may not be fair, but Mizuki is aware of the privileges she has compared to introverts or those who are socially awkward. During a field trip, a traffic accident results in most of the class being wiped out, leaving only five injured girls stuck in the wilderness. Hatred and tension flares as the remaining girls struggle to assert their dominance and survive. In this new reality, beauty and popularity no longer hold power as the group establishes a new class structure. Think Lord of the Flies meets Heathers.
