In 1942, as the hostilities on the Eastern Front between the Soviet Union and Na** Germany escalated to their most ferocious hours, the peaceful life of a young girl named Serafima in a small village on the outskirts of Moscow was utterly shattered. German boots trampled her homeland, claiming the lives of all of Serafima's dearest loved ones, including her mother. Just before she was to suffer the same tragic fate as her villagers, Serafima was rescued by Irina, a female Red Army soldier.
