Reiichi sets out to attend an interview for a part-time job, with the aim of earning cash for a brand-new bike. Accompanying him is his self-proclaimed servant, Kuro-senpai. The interview is scheduled to take place in a western-style mansion but upon arrival, it appears deserted. Their exploration leads to them being trapped inside the mansion, and now they must find a way out!

In the year 2063, humanity dominates the vast reaches of the universe. A collection of eager students, accompanied by a child, from Caird High School, set out on an expedition to MCPA, a far-off planet situated nine light-years away. Two of the participants in the group are Kanata Hoshijima, a bold and physically-fit individual, and the lovable Aries Spring. Their escapade is quickly transformed into a nerve-racking experience as a strange, luminous sphere pursues and captures them upon their arrival on MCPA. The orb transports the students to a hazardous region of space, which is approximately 5,012 light-years from safety. With limited resources and no prospect of rescue, the only option for them to make it back home is to board an abandoned spacecraft, sparking a demanding fight for survival and exposing the dark reality of their perilous journey.
