In the feudal era, there are seventy-two demon lords who are all vying for supremacy. Ashtarot, the weakest and youngest demon lord, used to be a researcher in his past life. Though he isn't as powerful as the others and doesn't have an army, he excels in practicality. Ashtarot employs cunning tactics, such as eliminating heroes before they become a threat and devising scheming plots to gain an advantage. Ashtarot's ultimate goal is to become the Demon King by bringing all the other demon lords under his rule. With the help of his loyal demon maid, Eve, and his subordinates, Ashtarot has become known as the demon lord who always emerges victorious by using his practicality and mastery of realistic tactics.
The manga tells the strange tale of cigarettes in robotic human female form who expel tobacco from their kisses, much like regular cigarettes would. The male main character, who has never kissed anyone before, slowly adjusts his life around his new cigarette girl and newfound "addiction".
