In Japan, the night life industry, also known as Mizushoubai or "water business", encompasses various forms of entertainment, including fuuzoku (commonly referred to as prostitution, but without the illegal aspects), hosting and managing at bars, and nightclubs such as kyabakura. Recently, a new high school was established in Tokyo's Shinjuku ward to provide education to young individuals who were previously without guidance in this industry. The School of Water Business, known as "Mizushou", is the first of its kind. This story is told from the perspective of a teacher named Tanabe Keisuke who was transferred to Mizushou to help educate its inaugural class of students.

The plot centers on two youthful gravure models named Aikawa Miku and Urushibara Satsuki. Miku is particularly pleased with her status and possesses a lively blond personality that commands notice. She frequently takes advantage of opportunities to show off her newfound prestige, often with the help of Satsuki, her childhood friend. To add to the chaos, their teacher is actually their brother, making it easier for them to disrupt his life.
Kazuichi Hanawa, a manga writer with a strong interest in firearms, stars in this semi-autobiographical story. Kazuichi's enthusiasm for collecting guns, despite the ban on gun ownership in his country, leads to his imprisonment for violating arms-bearing laws. He continues his hobby in secret but must always be wary of potential consequences. Sadly, Kazuichi's fears became a reality when he was taken into custody, and his brutal experiences during captivity are chronicled.
