The "campus sword & sorcery" story is set in a private high school that brings together "saviors," youths with awakened memories from past lives. Some of them are Shirogane who fight enemies with weapons and techniques gleaned from the Puraana powers from their own bodies. Others are Kuroma who wipe out enemies, with magic to manipulate the Maana powers that surpass physics. A boy named Moroha Haimura enrolls in this school. He is the first person in history with past lives of both Shirogane and Kuroma.

Mei no Naisho revolves around the life of the title character Mei Haruna, an effeminate young boy who was raised by his witch mother as a girl, and always thought of himself as female. His mother was the only family he had, so after she died, he transfers to an all-girls high school and comes to reside in the school's dormitory with his talking familiar cat Abel, and his roommate Fuuka Honjou, who is also a member of the public morals committee. Shortly after arriving at the school, his new friends discover after a magical display in the dormitory community bath that he is actually male, though this comes as quite a shock to him despite him being aware of the physical differences between him and normal girls. Despite him being found out, and after some helpful intervening of the perverted student council president, the principal of the school decides that he can stay at the school. The next day, Mei comes to school with Fuuka and apologizes for hiding the fact that he was a witch, and informs the others how he is apparently male. The other students quickly accept him as one of their own, and are impressed how he can use magic.
After his first love confession is rejected, Yuuki Shibuki finds himself crying away his heartbreak at a city park. Feeling depressed and blaming his short height and feminine looks for his failure, he is immediately perked up by a hooded street musician who's skill with the guitar helps to soothe away some of his self loathing. The next day he meets that same musician at the park and learns that 'he' was in fact a tall girl named Takamine Chikako and that she was playing the song he heard the previous night specifically for him.
Asahina Yuki, a young man with no special skills save for good luck, was invited to attend Bell Liberty, a legendary high school for elite students. Immediately after arriving, he was given an armband by a mysterious ninja who begged him to protect the school. That armband is the proof of being the Ace of the school - the student council president!
