The war between the two clans intensifies. Most of the Genji (Minamoto Clan) have fallen, and were taken as captives. Among them was the young Yoritomo, a surviving successor of the Minamoto Clan. Yoritomo was pardoned by the head of the Taira Clan and was exiled to Hirugakojima, a small island in the Izu province. Yoritomo lived a peaceful and contented life in exile and never once thought of taking revenge. One day, a monk was sent to the same island, supposedly banished for insolence towards the Emperor. Incidentally, this ill-mannered monk called Mongaku is Yoritomo's acquaintance. Mongaku meets Yoritomo and tries to convince him that the time has come to take revenge on the Taira. However, Yoritomo shuns Mongaku’s words….

She wakes up after taking the injured cat home to treat its wounds, and finds a naked boy, "Noa" in her bedroom! He claims to be the cat, "Noir". It appears that someone is after Noir as they are suddenly attacked by cats. Suzu can sense they are being controlled against their will. After their escape Noir/Noa is impressed by her bravery and the fact that she can understand animals--so much so that he asks her to have his babies! Poor Suzu, what is she to do with this cat-boy who's determined to stay close to her, VERY close? And what of those who are just as determined to get Noir back?
The two boys Gin and Jinrou form a tough team in the mountains. One day, Gin decides that the only way they can move forward is to travel to the capital and join the Shinsengumi.
